We can put whatever you want on the blinds pretty much, the usual is London Transport style letters in white out of a black background, but we can use coloured letters and backgrounds. Black letters on a yellow background is typical for a Green Line bus, often with a “GREEN LINE” masthead. Logos and fonts we can use if provided in a format that doesn’t pixelate when blown up. (Copywrited logos and fonts must come with permissions to use.) Ask for our current pricing per panel, which includes design, typesetting, printing and fitting.
Corporate Hires – put your company name, logo and event on the displays.
Weddings: Names of the happy couple are popular, along with dates and locations, such as a church name, “Wedding Special” or “Just Married”, we can add wedding bells or champagne glasses to the display if space permits. Tell us roughly what you want in how many panels and we will prepare the artwork to achieve the best look in the spaces available. Remember to get wedding pictures in front of the special blinds. Don’t forget the blind display above the platform, the happy couple on the platform with the blind just above is a favourite for wedding photographers.
Birthdays – How about their name …..and their age (if you dare!)
If you would like to keep them afterwards please state at time of booking and mention it to conductor at the end of the hire. Front displays from Double Deck buses will be provided to you by the conductor at the end of your hire. Displays on single deck buses and the side and rear of double deck buses are unfortunately only accessible by one of our engineers with a mobile platform, we will take them out back at our garage and can post them to you in a tube, however there is a post and packaging charge for this (£13 at the time this page was prepared).

These panels are made specially to your requirement and once ordered cannot be cancelled and must be paid for with the order. They are prepared as authentic as possible using the same font and layout that London Transport prepared them in years ago, unless you have specified otherwise.
