Sightseeing Route Options

To help you decide what you want to see we have devised a number of circular routes taking in the main sights and some of the more outlying ones if you have time. We give a guide time for each route and the main sights passed. We’ll pick you up drive to your selected tour, do the tour and return you, or we can do a part tour and drop you elsewhere. (Or you can devise your own route and submit to us, please observe road sign restrictions!)

We have devised some tours to make the most of your time:

To help you decide what you want to see we have created a number of circular routes taking in the main sights and some of the more outlying ones if you have time. We indicate a guide time for each route and the main sights passed. We’ll pick you up where you like, drive to your selected tour, do the tour and return you to your pick up point, or we can do a full tour or part of one and drop you elsewhere. (Allow for the extra time to get to the tour route from where you start and finish!) Or, you are welcome to devise your own route and submit to us, (please observe road sign restrictions!)

Each suggested route has a letter code and phonetic name.

See below for general map and area diagrams. (Letters and arrows on diagrams show the route letter and direction of travel)

click on any map image to enlarge it.

scroll further down for lists of suggested routes.

Tell us the letter code for the tour route you’d like us to run for you in your enquiry submission.

We can provide an open top, part open top or closed top Routemaster type double decker bus for a private tour for you and your guests. We are often asked to suggest a tour route for your bookings; Listed below are a range of routes of different durations, you should find something to suit.

All our planned routes are circular, drivers will pick up at your agreed location, drop into your selected tour at the closest accessible point, complete the circular tour and then drop out to return you to your destination. You may elect to just do part of a circular route if your destination point is different from the start point.

You are very welcome to devise your own route and submit it to us in advance, please respect all road signage restrictions and bear in mind buses can’t get down narrow or tight streets!

A Blue Badge tour guide can enhance your appreciation of the sights with a live commentary, you can bring your own guide or we can contract for a guide on your behalf. If you are bringing a guide, let us know, to ensure we provide a bus with a Public Address system. You may not want a guide if the main purpose is to pass the sights whilst catching up with friends or celebrating.

Our drivers will mostly be driving at a sedate 15mph so you can take in the views and 10mph past the sights so you can take pictures.

Brief photo stops can be made, if you wish, at Buckingham Palace, (short walk to the front view of the palace). Lambeth Bridge, for a classic view of the Houses of Parliament and St Paul’s Cathedral, however, generally, good pictures can be obtained from our bus without stopping.

Bathroom opportunities are limited, please make use of facilities before joining the bus.
